We are so happy you stopped by to check us out.

We are located in Mission, Texas, at 1101 Doherty Ave. 1 block east of Conway, between 11th and 12th streets.

Browse around and see what we are up to. See if we have any programs you might be interested in taking part in. Got kids? Our youth group is constantly on the go - participating in outreach programs or going to the movies or camp - they are like a flowing river. You just can't stop them. The little ones have lots of fun too, with Sunday School as well as other seasonal activities.

Looking for a place to worship? What type of service do you prefer? We have them all: Informal 8 am, Praise 9 am, Traditional 11 am, and traditional service in Spanish at 5 pm with Rev. Nydia Jara. Check the calendar page for times.

Our Ministries

'In His Steps' Shoe Ministry - We provide shoes for students of the Mission ISD students in need. Monetary donations welcome always!

'Dinner With Friends' Open to all, community dinner here every Friday nite at 5:30 pm. (except July)

'Food Pantry' - Our Food Pantry continues the 1st & 3rd Thursdays each month here at the church. We have a curbside, drive up only, on 11th St with line down Doherty to 11th St, and then next lines go in our parking lot. Begins @ 8:30 am until food is gone. Please have ID & proof of residency, wear mask & be safe! July we will have NO Food Pantry Distributions.

'Pablo's Closet' - Mission FUMC's Clothing Ministry. We offer emergency clothing/ household needs, as well as we open the 2nd Food Pantry each month for folks to select 10 items per family. Appointment needed out of our reg sched. (We accept donations of clean, gently used clothing of all sizes)

Activites:

Sunday School Classes, Sundays at 10:00 AM: Adult Class meeting again in the Parlor.

Bible Studies offered often.
